I’m in this business because I love telling stories and meeting interesting people.

I spent four years scouring Indiana for the most compelling stories I can — a journey that took me to tornado-ravaged homes in Kokomo, the polished halls of a federal appeals courtroom in Chicago, and even through the remains of a lost Indiana “city” buried under a reservoir.

In New York, I have reported on everything from President Donald Trump’s business entanglements to some of the biggest mergers in the media industry. Now, I’m editing our Business, Economy & Markets coverage.

I believe I’ve entered this industry at the beginning of a tremendously exciting new era — one where a text or a post or a tweet can tell a story, influence a narrative or drive an entire conversation. So far, I’ve been loving every minute of it.
